Exercise - Restorative Health Challenge - Washington DC
This section is to encourage you to simply move your body. Don't even think of it as exercise. Try something new or if you are already have a particular program try increasing the intensity or frequency or duration. You may want to consider working with a personal trainer for some pointers. With all exercise never exceed your comfort zone unless you are working with a medical professional or qualified trainer.
- Yoga class
- Go dancing: Try Salsa or Swing dance lessons or just go to a club and dance the night away
- Have fun playing a sport outside like softball or volleyball or soccer or touch football
- Walk the dog at a faster pace and a little longer
- Zumba
- If you're on vacation at the beach, take long walks on the beach
- Hike in a local park or Great Falls or go to www.trails.com for something more adventurous
- Horseback riding
- Jump rope
- Rollerblading
- Tennis
- Trampoline
- Bike riding
- Walk around the block
